Asusual, the querent is represented by the 1st house, its ruler and theMoon. Oppo site numbers of any kind (be they business or emotional, orwhether the relationship is based on love or war), are shown by the 7thhouse and its ruler. Any planets in these houses should also beconsidered as co-significators, especially if located near the cusps.They often furnish important physical descriptions or represent notablecharacteristics.
愛情關係的詢問者還是以一宮、一宮主星、與月亮作為代表；對宮即代表關係的另一方，即七宮與七宮主星；任何行星落在此兩宮都被視為次要代表行星，特別是接近地平線軸上的行星，甚為重要。這些代表行星通常提供重要的外觀特徵的描述，或是代表顯著的特質。

Besidesthe main significators, Lilly tells us to consider the Sun as a generalsignificator for the man and Venus as a general significator for thewoman. Some texts, such as the 16th century work of Dariot, also adviseusing the planet from which the Moon has last separated as aco-significator for the querent and the planet to which she nextapplies as a co-significator for the quesited. Any friendly aspect orunfriendly connection between these two is then said to reflect uponthe relationship of the lovers.

The5th house - the 'joy' of Venus - is often called the house of 'loveaffairs' for it has a traditional association with pleasure, delight,love and gifts. Finding the Moon or a main significator in the 5th maysuggest a heightened passion or pleasure in the relationship, but doesnot always bode well for long term commitments.
五宮為金星的喜樂宮，掌管愛情事項，傳統上跟娛樂、歡喜、愛情與禮物等事情有關，月亮與主要象徵星落在五宮暗示著關係中有著高度熱情與歡愉，但不一定預示長遠的承諾。

The main considerations in relationship questions are as follows:

在愛情卜卦中主要的考慮點如下：

• Agood aspect between ruler of the 1st house and ruler of the 7th shows awillingness to form a union. Application by trine or sextile is verypromising, especially when there is reception between the planets. If there is no applying aspect between the two, translation or collection of light can achieve the same result and often symbolises the assistance of a third party (more so when the Moon is in the 10th house).
• 一宮主與七宮主之間形成好相位，代表有意願去建立好關係，以三合或六合入相位表示會達成承諾，特別是當雙方有容納的情況存在時。如果雙方沒有入相位，但是有光線傳遞與集中的情況存在時，也能達成這個結果，但通常代表有第三者的協助而完成。
  

• Ifthe application or translation is by square or opposition withreception, a relationship is feasible but the situation is difficultand there will be obstacles to overcome. Without reception this kind ofaspect seldom promises a good result.
• 如果入相位或是光線傳遞是形成四分相或是對沖相位，但仍有容納關係，這個關係仍是可以維持的，可是其中會有許多困難需要去克服，如果沒有容納關係，這種相位很少有好的結果。

• An application from the Sun or Moon to Venus, if both are well placed and strong in essential dignities, indicates the relationship will develop.
• 如果太陽或月亮與金星有入相位，且兩者都配置良好，且在必然尊貴力量佳，代表這份關係將會有發展。

• The matter is most promising when the significators are in water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), or in the dignities of Venus.
• 最容易達成承諾的狀況是，當許多象徵星都在水象星座，即巨蟹、天蠍、雙魚，或是在金星的尊貴位置。

• The1st house ruler in the 7th suggests the querent is the more ardent ofthe two. Conversely, the 7th house ruler in the 1st shows the quesitedto be most keen.
• 一宮主星在七宮代表詢問者是兩人的關係之中較為熱切的一方，相反的七宮主在一宮代表對方是較為渴望的一方。
  

• Ifthe 7th ruler is located in the 7th house, the person asked about haslittle thought of the querent, especially if exalted or in its ownsign.
• 若七宮主落在七宮內，則被詢問的對象對於詢問者的關心較少，特別是落在他自己的廟旺星座中。

• The fastest moving planet usually indicates the fonder of the two - the one most inclined to develop the relationship.
• 最快速移動的行星通常表示兩者之中付出較多愛的一方，也就是有意願去發展關係的一方。

• Noapplication, translation or collection - no relationship. Also, if theapplication is frustrated by the interception of another planet, or byone of the significators turning retrograde, the relationship will bebroken off or hindered by a person or situation symbolised by the interposing planet.
• 沒有入相位，光線傳遞或是光線集中，就不會產生關係。再者，如果入相位受到其他行星的挫敗，或是其中一個象徵星突然逆行，這個關係將會破裂，或是受到介入的行星所代表的人事物的破壞。

• Uranusis the natural significator of excitability, division, divorce andseparation; Mars, disagreement, conflict and violence; Neptune, deceit,confusion and self-deception.
• 天王星是代表易激、分離、離婚與分居的自然象徵星；火星是爭吵、衝突與暴力的自然象徵星；海王是欺騙、困惑、自欺欺人的自然象徵星.

• TheMoon is the natural significator of wives; Venus sweethearts; Marsyoung men; Sun men of confidence; Saturn mature or older men - the'father figure'.
• 月亮是妻子的自然象徵星；金星是甜蜜的情人，火星是年輕男子，太陽象徵自信的男性，土星是成熟且年長的男性，即父親的形象。
